Maria is a seasoned marketing leader and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience driving strategic branding, marketing, business development and communications for technology, media and venture companies. She previously co-founded ThriveHive.com, a SaaS-based marketing platform, and has held various executive marketing roles at Monster.com, Polaris Venture Partners, Cambridge Technology Partners, and (GE) NBC Universal.
Prior to joining Resilient, Gene founded FVF Partners, a firm which helped CEOs and senior managers at early-stage high-tech companies to refine their sales and marketing strategies to boost revenue. Before starting FVF Partners, Gene was president of Nine Technology, an online backup and recovery developer, with responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, business development and partner relationships. Gene also served as VP of worldwide sales and global alliances for the security information and event management business unit of RSA, the security division of EMC.
Gant has practiced law for nineteen years; fifteen of those years as in-house counsel for security software companies. Prior to joining Resilient Systems, Gant was General Counsel of Arbor Networks, now part of the Danaher Corporation. Gant has also been Counsel at Authentica (sold to RSA/EMC) and AXENT Technologies (sold to Symantec). In 1997, Gant was appointed membership on the President Clinton’s Export Counsel Subcommittee on Encryption (PECSENC).
Allen is a well-known, highly regarded engineering leader in the security market. He adds more than 20 years of software engineering expertise and entrepreneurial experience to the executive team at Resilient. Most recently Allen served as Director of Engineering at EMC Corporation, where he managed engineering activities for several of the company’s enterprise content management and compliance product lines.
Karen is a veteran Chief Financial Officer with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience providing strategic, operational, and analytical insights for high-growth technology companies. She was previously VP of Finance at Veracode, a leading application security company. Prior to that, she held similar leadership positions at healthcare security company, SupplyScape and email security company Zix Corporation. Earlier in her career, Karen worked at PwC where she earned her CPA license.
Paul Ayers is an executive with a proven track record of bringing success to security companies in EMEA. Prior to Resilient Systems, Paul was VP EMEA for Vormetric, and has also held senior positions for PGP Europe, PGP Corporation, and Symantec. Paul is also the Manager of Enterprise Memberships EMEA for the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing.
